  1. The Universim Community Labs - Mission #7 Hi everyone, We just released our patch Chupacabra and we hope you are already starting to enjoy the new features. Our team has been doing a tremendous job implementing tons of new content every month to the extent that we feel like we are in a good place to slow down this month and actually spend some time on stability and performance improvements for The Universim. We would like to ask you to help us identify issues with the game such as elements of the game design you might have problems with or annoying bugs. Below are some areas that we would love some focused feedback on. CEMETERY 1. We would like to discuss Cemeteries. How do you think we can improve them? We noticed that at some point in the game Cemeteries and Gravediggers are getting overwhelmed with a number of dead bodies lying and stinking around the epicenter. In a lot of these cases, gravediggers are getting confused while trying to reach bodies that are located in unreachable areas. 2. The Gravedigger is going too far out thus making him very unproductive. We currently do not have any range limit for the Gravedigger. One solution we are planning to add is a maximum distance around the Cemetery that the Gravedigger will be able to see/grab bodies. This way we will eliminate issues with the gravedigger trying to go out and pick up bodies on the other side of the planet. We are also planning to make some of the graves disappear after 50 or 100 years. This will free up new space for Nuggets. PYRE 1. We need your help with this one as well. You have probably noticed that the Pyre is not really useful at this point. We want to make sure that the Pyre and Cemetery have their own pros and cons. For example, the Pyre has unlimited space for dead nuggets but it uses a lot of wood and Nuggets are unhappy about that fact. The Cemetery uses no resources, but it has limited grave capacity. Solution: Needed NUGGET POPULATION/REPRODUCTION 1. This one is a challenging task as well. Our goal with reproduction is to make it balanced based on the population and avoid Nuggets multiplying like rabbits at the later stage. Solution: Proper balancing of the "Matchmaking" God Power will give you guys more control on how you want population progress. In closing, please also let us know what you'd like to see most regarding bug fixes and balance changes. We're prioritizing things based on our playtests and from player feedback. Please continue helping us make The Universim the best game it can be.     Hi, we know you guys have been waiting for a while. What we're doing is very complex and we want to make sure we're doing it right. Right now most of the features are ready and what we're doing, we're connected all the bits and pieces together. It's a bit abstract work in terms of predicting when it's gonna be done, I can easily say that we're close to 80-85% done. Overall, we're planning to have things ready closer to the end of January beginning of February. A lot of things were redesigned, 100% of all assets in this short time. Entire a system is 100% brand new, planet generations algorithm is new also. Overall, we pretty much migrated entire project and things are much more clear and organized now. Again, sorry about the wait and thank you for your patience. Our team work really hard to release this update as soon as possible.

    Oh sorry, I guess I was not clear about this. We're gonna discontinue Spore and Iguana Editions, only people who already have them will get access. We hate to keep people waiting. Editions that will stay: COELACANTH DIMETRODON BRONTOSAURUS T-REX MAMMOTH Editions that will be discontinued: Spore Iguana These two versions are not popular at all and in most cases backers think that they will get access to the game right the way. Also, please keep in mind that the game price will change in the future.

    I understand and there is nothing wrong about that, I'm a gamer myself and I saw big and small companies fail. And that's why we're extremely careful with our promises and overall how we manage our budget. We're staying 100% independent, not signing devil contracts with Publishers or Investors even though we had some attractive offers. As long as we have your guys support we would be fine and we're not asking for more! Thanks again for amazing support and trust! P.s. My English is also horrible, hope you guys don't mind )

    You can't run away from the submarine internet. Honestly, nothing can go wrong at the moment. All issues are resolvable, our main enemy is the time, that work against of us all the time. We don't have unexpected issues, it's just a lot of elements in the game were retouched and now they need to be reimplemented/relinked into the new updated system. If you think there is anything else we can do to earn more trust from you, let us know Thank you for your kind words. We just feel a bit stressed about this We know you guys can't wait to try this update. Some of our people plan to go on winter holidays and that won't help with timing. We still need a bit extra time, I hate saying this, but it's true. A lot of behind the scene systems were changed\imrpoved and right now we're making sure that what we had earlier will be properly implemented. We will keep you updated as much as we can.     Don't count on it, sorry We're working hard on it, but it won't be released this week. I'll have a better update next week. Most major systems are almost ready, but we have a lot of smaller elements that needs to be updated. Sorry that we keep you guys waiting. We're working really hard right now, to release this update as soon as possible.

    Hello Creators! Thank you for the positive feedback and I would love to give you some answers to your questions! First of all the planet you start playing on called "Mother Planet", nowhere in the game we call it "Earth" so It's not "Earth" :). There are also no Humans/People on the "Mother Planet" you're playing with Nuggets - Unique species, that was designed with familiar shapes and needs. We want the Mother Planet look and feel familiar, but we don't want it to be 100% similar to planet Earth. All planets in The Universim will have set amount of Natural Resources such as: Gas, Oil, Metal and etc. These Natural resources are not replenishable! So once they have been used up, that's it. The bigger your civilization grows the more resources they'll use. You can slow down usage by researching green technologies and other tech to maximize your resource use efficiency, but initially you'll be forced to explore other planets and start transporting Natural Resources from those planets back to Mother Planet, that is if you'll decide that the Mother Planet is worth it Otherwise Nuggets can just abandon it and let the planet die off. Our Goals is to not have an END GAME or GAME OVER screen, where you win and exit game. We're developing dynamic systems that will help us challenge you more and more as you progress. We're gonna automate some production as you evolve in order to not overwhelm you with micromanagement. When you'll reach Space Era the game will be more concentrated on Interplanetary management. It's a very challenging process and that's why we're staying 100% transparent with you guys during the development. We want you to raise a red flags for systems and features you dont like earlier in development vs showing you what we have done at the end and realize that all this time we were out of touch with our fan base. Please continue sharing your ideas and concerns with us they're helping us shaping up The Universim in a right way! Thank you,

    Beta backers will get access to the game within next few months. After that we will discontinue Tiers, with Beta access. The Universim still will remain in Alpha stage though, we just hate keeping you guys waiting :\
